My name is Jeff Rowe and I’m a bankruptcy lawyer. Together with my law partner Adrian S. Williams we have over 50 years of experience in representing small business and individuals. We have offices in Fresno and Merced.
We represent clients in Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa and Merced County in bankruptcy cases. We only represent debtors: individuals and businesses.
My law practice is almost exclusively devoted to representing people in financial distress – this does not always mean bankruptcy, but make no mistake an unprecedented amount of bankruptcies are being filed this year as a result of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

I spend a great deal of time talking with people everyday about there personal financial situations. Some days are just heartbreaking and other days give me a sense of unimaginable gratitude that I’ve been able to help them navigate out of their financial crisis.
I will be the first to admit that bankruptcy is not always the answer. When you come to my office and interviewed by me we first find out what your financial picture is today.
That process often is very difficult for some. They know the situation is bad, but they just stopped answering the phone and opening the mail. They’ re in full blown avoidance and denial of their financial problems, and part of my job as I see it is to break through these blockages and present you with options.
